About Us

Marcus is an Ordained minister. He has a B.S in Church Ministry, an M.Ed. and is working on his Ph.D from Texas Tech University.  He has more than a decade of Ministry experience.

HealingChoice is two-fold. First, we want to provide ministry to the Minister. When over 20,000 Ministers leave the ministry each year, something is wrong. The number one reason why those ministers are leaving, is unresolved conflict. Something must be done.

HealingChoice is now in the process of raising support for a Minister's Retreat Center. The Retreat Center will be free to Ministers and their families.

Second, HealingChoice, provides ministry to the local congregation. As we travel, we speak healing to the broken and wounded that sit in our church pews. Our teaching centers on helping people forgive the hurts in their lives, release themselves from the torment of bitterness and resentment, and find healing in Christ.

 The opportunity

20,000 Ministers will leave the ministry this year and every year thereafter.  A majority of those will leave because of stress or burnout caused largely by unresolved conflict. 

Of those Ministers that do remain in ministry, the turnover rate is alarming.  On the average, a Senior Pastor will stay at his present assignment no more than 5 years.  The average stay for a Youth Pastor is only 6 to 8 months.   

The Strategy

• Offer a place of rest, renewal, and refreshing to Ministers and their family for free.
• Offer free, professional, licensed counseling to Ministers and their family.
• Offer Leadership training to Churches (i.e. Pastoral Staff, Church Board, Lay Leadership).
• Offer Intentional Conflict Resolution Solutions (ICRS) to troubled churches.
• Offer Conferences and Seminars to the body of Christ.

The Results

We believe that through an intentional process of ministry, HealingChoice™ can make a positive impact in the lives of Ministers who are stressed out and considering leaving the ministry or have become ineffective.  

Through leadership training, ICRS, conferences, and seminars, HealingChoice™  can make a positive impact in the Local Church.  Thereby, positively affecting the community and the Church at Large.
