HealingChoice™ is a Christian umbrella organization for several types of therapeutic care. Founded in 2005, HealingChoice was initially born out of the Tanners’ work in ministry. They have a deep care for those who are working in ministry or have left ministry for some reason. To learn more about their work with ministry families click here.
As HealingChoice grew and developed, the Tanners broadened their work to people who are struggling with relationship issues, stress, depression, and anxiety, among other mental health difficulties. In 2014, they opened the first HealingChoice clinic in Lubbock, TX, offering mental health services to the public while also continuing their work in ministry.
At HealingChoice, our work with our clients is primarily focused on the Christian mandate to “love one another” (John 13:34). Thus, we feel it is our mission to love all people regardless of their struggle in life, sexual identity, or view of religion.

Services
We provide services and create products that help others heal from trauma and adverse experiences; leading them to discover their pathway to healing. We work hard to reduce the stigma of mental healthcare, especially among the faith community. We help produce healthy relationships, healthy families, and healthy ministries.
We use strategies to help make it easy for people to say yes to good therapy. We understand our clients have been through difficult life circumstances. We serve as a guide toward healing.
Impact
Our ultimate future is to be the premiere regional treatment center for researching and recovery from trauma. We want to help people live a life without symptoms of trauma and adverse experiences. Our goal is to lead people toward a pathway to healing through evidence-based practices.
